TeriGina and Paul Whitley are contemporary worship leaders, musicians, and educators based in the Houston area who share a passion for collaborative leadership, musical excellence, and creating meaningful worship experiences.
Paul Whitley earned an Associate of Arts, Field of Study in Music, with voice as his primary instrument. He has sung as a tenor in choirs throughout grade school, college, and with the Strawbridge United Methodist Church Chancel Choir. Paul has been involved in numerous musical projects that have shaped his work as a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and audio engineer. He has produced, mixed, and mastered music for a variety of bands, frequently runs live sound, and has served as Lead Sound Engineer at Strawbridge United Methodist Church since 2019. In addition to his technical role, he co-directs the Celebration Singers children’s choir and serves as a worship leader in the contemporary service. Paul brings excellence in musicianship and a heart to encourage, inspire, and support musicians as they strive to reach their full potential.
As music instructors, Paul and TG teach private lessons for students of all ages. Paul teaches drums, guitar, bass guitar, piano, and voice, with over nine years of teaching experience. TG teaches beginner piano, intermediate bass and acoustic guitar, and all levels of voice. Upon becoming a board-certified music therapist, she is passionate about offering adapted music lessons to serve diverse learning needs.
Together, TeriGina and Paul form Wheeple, an acoustic duo founded in the summer of 2022. Known for rich harmonies, adaptable instrumentation, and engaging musical leadership, Wheeple’s collaborative approach is shaped by years of ensemble singing, worship leadership, and live performance. Their experience includes church events, fundraisers, local venues, and serving as opening night performers for Texas Choir Camp in 2025.
As educators and worship leaders, they value flexibility, collaboration, and creating environments where singers and instrumentalists feel confident, supported, and inspired to lead well.
