Improvising That Won’t Offend the Piano
July 14 @ 2:45 pm - 3:45 pm
Clinician: Ken Medema
In our improv class, the first thing to do is to find out at what level the class members are improvising. Some will be able to do variations on hymns and some will have little clue as to how to start. I am hoping to build the class around touching each person’s needs and offering suggestions to each. We will cover some principles that apply to almost all forms of improv and give each participant a chance to play.
